Not sure which restaurant's the above blogger went too as we recently ate at The Momtaz and the food and staff were a delight! We pre-booked the table for 8 and on arrival the staff took our jackets and seated us promptly, taking our drinks order straight away. we only had a short time to wait for the food to arrive but the manager constantly checked if we were ok and if we needed top ups for our drinks. The food was lovely and did not taste microwaved at all. The price of the food was quite reasonable and remembering not all restaurants serve the same food or beverages,so that's probably why its seemed abit expensive to the other person. But we would recommend it to friends and family and look forward to going back again.

From the outside this indian appeared upmarket then its competitors in Boscombe. However, when we got a table in the restaurant the table linen was filthy. On ordering food, the staff, including who appeared to be the manager, were incredibly abrupt and rude. You felt as if you were putting them out. When the food came, it tasted as though the sauce had been microwaved and not cooked with the meat. And compared to other Indians, it was expensive for the small portion sizes. Very dissapointing.
