Been to the Ship Inn on a few occasions and can honestly say the food was superb! You'd struggle to find finer food in the area and very good value for money too. For just a dining experience, avoid busy nights when there's live music going on in the bar as the place gets packed. Staff are really nice and service was very good, not super fast but comfortable. Really like the ambiance there, would thoroughly recommend
I am disappointed with the deficiency and disrespect shown by the management and door person to their guests. They are not prepared to deal with any difficulties and we had a very distressing night. I tried to phone and resolve the situation few times and every-time the so called manager will phone back, but never did.......
Out of respect and service industry the manger should reply or investigate the raised issues to make customers happy.
One of my guests had a food poisoning as the Tuna steak was not cooked properly and he was ill for a couple of days.
It was an experience I never had before and I am still angry and distressed about.
I don't think I will go there again or recommend it at all.
