Bournemouth's temporary ice rink is back for the winter season. To get in to the festive spirit take to the rink for another season of ice skating. Bournemouth skaters who have been to the rink before receive a discount!

Festive Fun
The rink will be in place just in time for Christmas and it's the perfect family festive fun. They're expecting the rink to be extremely busy and so they've increased its size to ensure everyone has ample opportunity, and space, to try ice skating. Bournemouth International Centre is taking bookings so get in early before you miss your chance.

Infant Skaters
For those who haven't yet dared to try ice skating, Bournemouth ice rink is offering lessons. There's also a seperate area for infants too so they can gain confidence, as well as penguin skating aids to help them glide across the ice if they haven't yet perfected their balance.

Discounts
Booking up early is advised, especially if you're going as a group as this can entitle you to all sorts of discounts on ice skating. Bournemouth schools, groups, businesses and families can pre-book sessions at a discounted price. And if you've been to the rink before you'll be entitled to a discount.

Office Party
For an alternative office Christmas party, or a special family outing you have book one of the party packages at the Bournemouth rink, which will yet again be held at Purbeck Hall. Party packages include a session on the ice followed by a meal at the Hot Rocks restaurant.

Under Cover
Cool Energy, who run the rink, say that during the summer they had a 50 per cent increase in numbers which is why they decided to expand the rink. But even though it's bigger, booking in advance is advised and because it's under cover you can glide around on the ice even if the winter weather is bitter.
