Littledown Fireworks Display
When
5.30pm - 10pm, 7th November 2009
Where
Littledown Centre
Littledown fireworks display returns with another night of spectacular pyrotechnics for all the family. There's not one but three displays lighting up the night skies plus an evening of live music and family entertainment.
Martial Arts
As well as three fantastic pyrotechnic shows the Littledown fireworks display has entertainment inside the centre so you can warm up while you wait for the main event to start. Throughout the eveinng there'll be martial arts demonstrations from the Dorset Taekwondo Tigers. There's a family funfair which will be open throughout the night.
Film Score
This year's theme for the Littledown fireworks display is Magic Of The Movies so there'll be rousing film scores as the fantastic firework fountains explode over the Littledown Centre. To ensure everyone has a fun Bonfire Night the Littledown Fireworks Display is split into three sections with a display especially adapted for children kicking off at 7pm.
Three Displays
There's another display suitable for families which starts at 8pm. These shows are perfect for youngsters because although they have all the shimmer of a traditional display they don't have quite so many bangs and crackles as the last Littledown fireworks display - the While Knuckle Display!
Grand Finale
The traditional celebrations to mark 5th November end with the White Knuckle Display which, as the name suggests, features much more full on fireworks. The Littledown fireworks display doesn't have a bonfire but the centre more than makes up for this with three fantastic displays and entertainment to keep the whole family happy.
Live Music
In between each of the displays live bands will perform on a stage in the field and there's also a free children's disco. You can keep warm with hot food and drinks or enjoy a tipple from the licensed bar inside the Littledown Centre.
The Littledown Centre's display takes place from 5.30pm - 10pm, 7th November 2009. Tickets on the gate are £6 for adults and £3 for children.
