Just wanna say a big thanks for being my favourite chinese in all of bournemouth and serving me amazing food. Only once have I ever disliked a meal, but due to the amazing food served bar that one occasion, I carried on eating there and it was amazing. Thanks so much
I agree with previous comments and say this is probably the worst Chinese takeaway I ever had.
Not only was it an hour and ten minutes late but it wasn't even all the dishes I had ordered. When I rang back the lady she couldn't really understand me so you might want to think about getting someone who speaks correct English to work there so the one thing you have to do is done right. The chicken chow mien we had was disgusting with hard round bits of chicken that looked stale and old and like previous comments I wouldn't even feed them to my dog. The egg fried rice was one of the worst we have had and it's not hard to get right. The smoked chicken was soggy and the over all taste of the chicken was terrible so I really worry where it comes from! This was shared by 4 people and everyone felt the same and the Chinese was chucked away because we couldn't even be bothered to ring back again and waste any more of our time on Friday night. Can't believe I gave nearly £30 to this place.........never again and will definitely just stick to our local this time. These people really don't have a clue, neither do they have any quality control in place clearly.

This was the worst meal i have had for a very long time. My husband and I have been customers for years and at the start the food was very good . Food tasted really bad , even the cat wouldn't eat the prawns ! Pork balls dry unedible.
Fantastic Food and a great atmosphere. The Wonderful Kitchen never lets us down. I have eaten at over 20 Chinese restaurants and this one is without doubt in the top three.
Thank you for all the comment to the wonderful kitchen & Lounge.
Personally, i think these comment are good.

The Manager,
Anthony Yuen
we had a 30th here, and it was fantastic,we were well looked after. 2 of my friends do not like chinese, but was given good old english, worth a visit
If we could rate minus stars then we would, one star is too generous. We ordered a take away, which was hands down the worst take away we have ever tried to eat. The starters were dried, greasy and congealed, as if they had been sat on a hot plate for hours, they definitely were not freshly cooked. The main was even worse, dried, congealed, greasy, stale, I wouldn't feed it to my dog. We called the restaurant to complain and the manager came to our house to collect it (so far so good), he came to take the main back to the kitchen to show the staff what was wrong with it, he also had a voucher to eat at his restaurant (he didn't seem to appreciate the irony in this, why would we want to eat there again!), we told him that we weren't interested in the voucher and would like a refund. He said he was only taking some of the food away so he wasn't giving a refund! We gave him the rest of the main back (we hadn't touched it) and he still didn't want to refund. After much arguing he finally agreed he would refund our money but only for the main, not the starters. He took the voucher with him and drove back, when he called us to refund the money he said he couldn't refund it to a debit card, that we would have to drive to the take away to have it refunded! When my other half went to the restaurant the manager threatened to call the police because he felt threatened by her and said he didn't come to our house with cash (for the refund) because he had to see the food to see if there was something wrong with it! Deliberately obtuse, and a total joker, don't have anything to do with the "wonderful kitchen"!
A pretty average venue with a rather pricey menu. If the staff were a little more friendly and helpful it would probably overcome some of the feelings of dissatisfaction.
Nice place and good food, but poor service really. I just called up and ordered, and when I asked how much it was, she replied: YOU HAVE MENU RIGHT?! SO YOU KNOW HOW MUCH IT IS!
We bring our business to you, and sorry we will take it away...
Please respect your customers...
Visited this restaurant with high expectations but came away quite underwhelmed.
Arrived at the booked time and quickly ordered a set menu then settled down over a nice pint of draft Asahi. After a few minutes the vegatables and sauce arrived for the duck first course. We sat and looked at these for some time before a waiter finally came over to explain that the kitchen had forgetten about us - great. 30 minutes after the first half of the first course the second half of it arrived - a generous portion for 2 but only 6 pancakes which seamed unecessarily mean.
2nd couse was dumplings & dim sum, a bit bland, grey and chewy but edible.
3rd course was good special rice, some ok lemon chicken and 'crispy shredded chili beef'. I believe it was beef, it was certainly crispy and shredded but if there had been any chili in there it had been long overpowered by what tasted like lots of vinegar (really quite unpleasant). Oh yes, there were also some mixed vegatables - the mange tout were fresh but the rest it seemed has come out of a tin - they were mostly grey and chewy and fairly grim.
As it was meant to have been a special occasion we chose not to make the evening worse by making a scene, we paid our bill (without tip) and quietly left. Maybe we were just unlucky and caught them on an off night but I personally wouldn't be inclined to rush back, I have eaten better Chinese food locally.
I have never enjoyed Chinese so much, the dishes here were so filling and stunning to look at. This is the first chinese restaurant i have eaten at that takes so much pride on presentation. Get in while you can!
