Comedy returns to Sandown Park Racecourse on Saturday 6th February, Totesport Masters Day where the hugely popular Comedy Store will be hosting another hilarious Comedy show.
After the racing, a bill of three brilliant stand-up comedians will take to the stage to create an atmosphere of happy hilarity while you enjoy a drink or two in the company of friends and colleagues. Performing three live 20 minute acts after the day’s racing, the racecourse is proud to announce the following top comedians:
1.
Ranked amongst the top ten stand-ups in Britain by The Independent,
Ian Stone
is one of the most talented topical acts and comperes on the circuit. Edgy and provocative, with an easy-going manner and self-depreciating style, Ian is at great ease bantering with an audience.
2.
Mike Gunn’s history is as interesting and entertaining as his comedy. His lugubrious comedy has been described as ‘drier than a dead man’s bones’. He has a rare ability to walk close to the line of what audiences find acceptable and yet still remain likable and funny.), Live At Jongleurs (CH5), and Al Murray’s sit-com ‘Time Gentlemen Please’.
3.
Lee ‘Nelsy’ Nelson is an irrepressible, self-appointed South London ‘legend’ who educates his audiences with his views on relationships, gang life, and fatherhood…. “I was too young when I become a dad - it was well awkward going to the same school.” He is currently making his own television series for BBC Three.
----------
To ensure your entry to the comedy store, we strongly advise you book your tickets in advance as last year both our comedy events sold out.
(Note to parents: the show is of an adult nature and under 18s will not be permitted).
