Great film really shows the life in Beirut. I lived over there for five years and this film bought back to me, my experience of life over there sweet and painful. When I saw the name of the film I just had to go and see it and it's one of the best outside films I've seen.

I thoroughly enjoyed watching the film Caramel (??? ???? Sukkar banat?). It was moving, sensual and many times emotional. Nadine Labaki expressed so well in the film, what many women feel and go through. It was a beautiful film, and showed the lives of women in Beirut, without involving politics. I would definately recommend it.

This is a beautiful and soulful movie, and one that shows a completely different side to life of what we expect in Lebanon. The story is rooted in the power of the female bond with both the ups and downs of being a woman. What makes the film so incredible is that it tells the story of women of different ages in such a gentle and stunning way. I was easily drawn into the film and the various story lines. The acting was wonderful and the visual images wonderful. This movie has heart and soul - it's both uplifting and sensitive, and it just simply cannot be missed.
