I cannot believe that the 5* reviewer watched the same film as I did. This was a travesty, part-farce, and with some dreadful acting, especially Knightly who was wooden and Vronsky who looked particularly camp. Stoppard must have had an off-day. Worst film I have seen since that ghastly thing about Keats a few years back.

Film of the Week

Argo (15)

Impeccably directed, superbly written and brilliantly acted, this is a terrifically entertaining thriller that gets everything right and confirms Ben Affleck as a major directing talent.
