I have had takeaways for over 4 years from this restaurant and have spent thousands of pounds over that time. I had a bad takeaway on October 10th 2014. I think a lot of lemon got spilt into it; it was inedible by either me or my wife. After 5 phone calls to Teresa, I was offered 20% off a replacement. A few days later Sammy returned a missed call from me by mistake. I explained the law states a full refund or a replacement, his reply was "I don't care about the law and I don't care about you". To take him to small claims for £7 would cost me about £160. I will do my best to tell everyone what a horrible man he is.

Myself and my friends went to sammi's last night ans had a really good time, the food was excellent, it tasted fresh and full of flavour, i cannot fault the food it was delicious. The staff where very friendly, the young lady at front of house was very very helpful, as some of us where not sure which dishes to choose. In all I can say that this has been the best Indian restaurant I have visited in a long time and we certainly will be going back, Thanks Sammi's for a great evening.
We went to Sammi's on a Wednesday evening and were the only customers there.
We had been enjoying our food until a large, dead, green maggot, the size of my thumbnail, fell off a forkful of Brinjal Bhajee (cooked okra/lady's fingers). The owner was called immediately to have a look and he took my plate away to the kitchen. He returned a few minutes later, and tried to persuade us that it had been a seed. I have had much experience cooking with this vegetable: its seeds are small, white and circular, not curled and segmented with a dark, brown head.
I explained this to the owner and, to prove my point, asked to see the worm I'd found again. Unsurprisingly, he returned to say it had been thrown in the bin.
At no point did he apologise, or offer any kind of compensation or price reduction. To add insult to injury, when our bill arrived, we found we had been overcharged: the prices they were asking were higher than those advertised on their menu outside.
In short: the staff were rude, patronising, and unreasonable - ruining what had been, until that point, a fairly enjoyable evening. Neither my friends or myself will be going there again: I would advise anyone else against it.
