Don't go there. Cold place, weird waiters starring at you whilst you eat. Saag bhaji worst ever like slime! Main dishes were just warm sauce hardly any meat. Portions tiny and over priced compared to other nearby Indian restaurants. Worst of all over charged at end of meal. When commented to manager he just took off £1.80? Felt conned when leaving. Will never go back. Worst meal out I have experienced. Never again. Find it hard to beleive any reviews are good after our experience.
I have eaten here numerous times and always really enjoyed myself! I have recommended it to many people and cannot get enough of the food. I have just read the other reviews and seen that they are not so good, however I have not experienced this as I am a vegetarian and I do not drink. I would highly recommend this restaurant.
Me and my friend had a great fun in Red Fort it was fantastic. Its like being in India. The food was amazing. The service was good. Restaurant was warm enough.
Don't miss the food of Red Fort
Myself and my friend have eaten last night in this restaurant in Wimborne and we are suffering the effects today. Both of us feel sick and extremely tired today so can only put this down to some form of food poisoning. I do not drink alcohol so we immediately ruled this reason out.
Our meals were of poor quality, the keema naan meat looked really unappetising and tasted worse. My chicken vindaloo was a mash of reheated potato and lots of old chillis thrown on top to try and give it some taste or to mask the non-existent taste at that.
My friends chicken jalfrezi was yet another reheated meat dish which was dry and tasteless.
the restaurant was extremely cold, the heating did not work properly however our servers were very friendly and accommodating.
All in all do not eat here unless you fancy igloo conditions and a bout of sickness the next day!!
I am currently sat in red fort restaurant it is cold in here and I have asked for the heating to be turned up but nothing has been done more than that I have just got my starter which is on the menu as sheek kebabs (4 pieces ) and when I got it it was 1 kebab cut into 4 pieces. A pint is £5.00 and they tried to over charge me at the end of the night to top it off. do not eat here it was my anniversary and I couldn't have had a worse night if I had tried ( BAD MEAL )
what a amazing Indian restaurant the best in Wimbourne and the Dorset .Wimbourne Finaily has a truer Indian restaurant.
Thank You Red Fort
