An attractive victorian pub, serving at least 4 real ales on the pump and half a dozen in bottles. Excellent selection of ciders and lager too. The new landlord and landlady are making a real effort to keep this traditional pub going, trying to cater for all tastes. Many improvements have been made since they took over back in November 2012, and many more are in the pipeline. Anyone who hasn't been in the Jockey for a while should definately pop in, Jerry and Alison will make you very welcome !
