Although it is my local pub never been in it much as got very tatty. Just before Xmas I went for something to eat with a friend, heard it had been refurbished. Wow! Very impressed. Loved reburb and ideas used. Very clean, welcoming and good food menu. Met John the new owner, nice welcoming friendly guy. Ended up buying New Year Eve tickets and what a fab night it was. I have sung its praises ever since and 10 of us girls are going there this week to eat and enjoy a overdue get together. Normally go to the curlew, Crown & Spectre just as good if not better and in walking distance. Well done to the new owners and friendly staff. Regardsmary
A very friendly pub and the prices are quite reasonable too.
